Beginning his career in 1996 as a mobile DJ, Van Luup quickly transitioned to club residencies, performing at some of Sri Lanka’s premier venues, including TABU, My Kind of Place (Taj Samudra), Mix Bar (Taj Samudra), and Lords in Negombo. His talent and versatility led him to international stages, with notable residencies and guest appearances at esteemed establishments such as Admirals (Ritz Carlton), Cloud Nyn (Merweb), Pearl Lounge (Marriott), and The Cube (Ramada) in Doha, Qatar.
Van Luup has shared the stage with industry giants, warming up and closing sets for artists like Avicii, Mark Knight, M.A.N.D.Y, Paul Thomas, Prok & Fitch, and Jerome Isma-Ae, among others. His production prowess is evident through releases on labels such as Movement Recordings, PP Music, Mandarine Music, and Jumbutek Records. Additionally, he has been instrumental in introducing internationally acclaimed brands like Ministry of Sound and Housexy to Sri Lanka and Doha, serving as the official DJ for these events.
